S before 5 or after 5??

S before 5 or after 5?? Samsung Galaxy S5 vs Apple iPhone 5s

Yes you got it.is it iPhone 5S or newly launched Samsung galaxy S5..trending the market.
Samsung has recently launched S5 in order to maintain the market trend with latest technology upgraded into S5. iPhone 5S is latest product by Apple Inc in the market.
So what’s make iPhone 5S better or Samsung S5.
NUTS & BOLTS:
We know that Apple has added it’s powerful A7 chip in iphone 5S giving it the best of performance. Apple has added 1GB RAM to balance the performance provided to user. Whereas S5 has 2.5Ghz Snapdragon 801 processor, with 2GB RAM. S5 has 432ppi and display of 1080p making the best display over the screen, Apple is famous for retina display which is being introduced 362ppi retina display which is less capable on terms of display only auto brightness is best.
DESIGN:
Samsung keeps the size increasing in next model and so do Apple inc, but this time Samsung S5 has added 5.1 inch display with plastic casing. The rear casing is creative so that accidental slips are avoided.  Now talking about iPhone 5S it has textured aluminium design giving a rich feel, it has 4inch display.
OS:
This is what makes a difference between these two rival products. IOS 7 is installed in iPhone 5S which is slick , and has flat UI and much easy to use. S5 runs on KitKat version 4.4, not much attractive neither good looking as compare to IOS 7.
BATTERY:
5S has 1560 mAh battery, it last for randomly 2 weeks on standby but actually on use the battery drains down faster than HTC ONE and LG G2. S5 has 2800 mAh battery and also have additional power saver mode that brings power to absolute minimum level when activated.
Features:
The best feature that makes iPhone 5S at top is the touch ID feature. User can rest finger on the home button and it would be used to unlock your phone. M7 motion co-processor due to which fitness tracker catches up moments without affecting the battery life.
S5 also adds in finger print ID, late but it added. It has one amazing feature .i.e. heart monitor, it also has download booster which combine 4G and wi-fi for the extra speed while surfing. It’s DUST proof and WATER resistant.

Camera:
iPhone 5s has isight camera of 8 MP giving the best performance ever in the Apple family, it is far better to S4 and HTC ONE, iphone 5S gives healthy experience. Video shooting on iPhone 5S gives a quality of video 1080p it also has secondary camera 1.2 MP.
S5 has double the MP of iPhone 5S, it has 16MP. It takes picture in 0.3 seconds, it also has HDR mode. It shoots video upto 4k, front camera of 2.1 MP.

VERDICT:
Apple iPhone 5S is launched prior to this S5 and many users has acquainted with Apple products. For the comeption part S5 has added with touch ID sensor not so attractive feature as we can find this in Iphoen 5S.
Only one thing best at fitness is heart rate monitor app that would make heart beat calculate. Apple inc trying more with Nike+ to add in fitness apps more in IOS versions.
When it comes to friendly, handy and style iPhone 5s is the answer, when it comes to shoot video S5 takes it.
Samsung late but finally with touch ID.

What a news for today…!!!

The deal bolsters the world’s biggest social network by adding the 450 million users of WhatsApp, which will get operated independently with its own board. It is Facebook’s biggest deal and comes less than two years after Mark Zuckerberg’s firm raised $19 billion in the richest tech sector public stock offering.

WhatsApp will continue to operate independently and will maintain its brand. Co-Founder and CEO Jan Koum is ready to join Facebook's board of directors. Koum, the fellow Co-Founder Brian Acton and WhatsApp employees will receive an extra $3 billion (about £1.79b, AU$3.3b) in restricted stock over the next four years.

The Messenger will continue to function as a standalone app.

In the past, much of the spread of the Internet has happened on desktop computers. But now as the majority of new Internet users get connected through smart phones, which are expected to outnumber PCs soon. The messaging services like, Line in Japan, WeChat in China are the important apps for many of the new smart phone users.

What's more, WhatsApp "exciting" product road map will not change, and Koum noted more features will arrive in the next 12 to 24 months.

Samsung Galaxy S5- What more you can ask for!!!

Samsung Galaxy S5- What more you can ask for!!!

Ever since the announcement of Samsung's 'Unpacked 5' event in early February, the buzz around the Galaxy S5 has reached a new height on the internet, with numerous reports surrounding the smart phone's features confusing fans on what to expect from the upcoming device.
To get a better perspective on the Galaxy S5's specifications, I have leafed through numerous reports and have pieced together a list of probable features, which are likely to come in the Samsung phone.

Smart Features:

Fingerprint Sensor

According to recent reports, Samsung is including a fingerprint sensor in the home button of the smart phone and not in the display as was suggested by many recently. The users will need to swipe their finger on the button to register the print. This proves that Samsung is still using physical and capacitive buttons in its flagship. The sensor will be different from the touch fingerprint scanner that Apple has included in iPhone 5, as it will detect swipes across it.

Samsung Galaxy S5- What more you can ask for!!!

The development of its own sensor allows the company to have more control over production, which ensures that it will have enough components to meet demand for the device (Galaxy S5 is expected to sell millions of units, same as its predecessors).

Samsung has integrated the fingerprint sensor throughout Galaxy S5 software; so in addition to unlocking their phone, the users will also be able to open apps (by assigning app shortcuts to fingerprints) or do some other task. The phone will support a total of 8 fingerprints. Samsung is also introducing something called Private Folder and Private Mode, where users will be able to hide their apps, widgets and other content, which will only be accessible after swiping the registered fingerprint.

Also See : Samsung S5 with Finger Scanner?

To open and close your Personal Folder and Private Mode, you will then need to swipe your registered finger over the home key after tapping on the home key, or you can simply use a different security method, like the pattern unlock or security PIN. It will enable you to verify your Samsung account using your fingerprint and will also enable you to sign into different websites, without requiring you to enter your username or password ever again.

Camera

It was rumored that the fifth generation Galaxy S device would boast a top-of-the-line 16.0-megapixel main camera. It was expected to feature with ISOCELL technology with OIS (Optical image stabilization), loss-less zoom facility and 4K resolution video taking capability.
Samsung Galaxy S5- What more you can ask for!!!

But putting all rumors to rest, Samsung has confirmed that its next Galaxy flagship will feature a new "reflector-integrated flash LED" that will lend it some specific results. The new Galaxy S5 LED flash will provide the phone's camera with a wider field of view, even in small spaces and through better daylight and nighttime photos as Samsung has claimed.

Samsung reportedly features its own optics and diffusion features. The new LED flash will come to devices starting in March, after Samsung unveils the Galaxy S5 to the masses at MWC 2014.

Price Details

Samsung is planning to lower its Galaxy S5 price as compared to previous galaxies. Sources have claimed that the upcoming Galaxy S5's premium variant (metal) would cost €800, whereas the plastic model would hold a price-tag of around €650. Now, let’s see that what final price is of Samsung galaxy S5.

So, these were some of the features which are eye-catching in the much awaited Galaxy S5.

SlickLogin-The Sound based password system for Google

The internet giant Google is acquiring SlickLogin, an Israeli developer of sound-based password alternative, in an "acqui-hiring deal", which means SlickLogin's staff, and knowledge will be integrated into Google, SlickLogin confirmed the deal.
SlickLogin-The Sound based password system for Google

SlickLogin was founded less than a year back. The company is based on a novel idea to enable end users to log-in easily into password-protected websites by using a uniquely generated sound. The service was built to be used either as a password replacement or as a secondary, 2-Factor authentication layer on top of a traditional password. The company wrapped their product into a small, compact, closed Beta after debuting it at Disrupt, and had not yet opened it up to everyone when they were acquired.

Over the few years, we have witnessed a rise in the number user id's being compromised and that's where SlickLogin is aiming at. It mostly allows you to log in to a website on your PC while holding your phone within a few inches away from it. It uses numerous protocols to verify your phone's exact position: Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and GPS.

The company is yet to launch a commercial product and accrued clients, so the whole deal actually represents an acquisition of the technology itself. No financial figures of the transaction were disclosed.

The service is not made public, let’s wait and watch for this new tech update.

Say, “OK Google”

Google has allowed you to speak your search to it on the desktop and mobile devices for some time, but now it has gone much smarter — talking back to you and continuing the conversation you started. The idea is that your devices — smart phone or desktop, will apparently be constantly listening for the “OK Google!!” command.
Say, “OK Google”
When you will say this command then it will definitely know that you want to search something. For Google, all things voice now starts with “Ok Google” or “Ok Glass.” With Android KitKat on flagship phones like the Moto X and Nexus 5, voice recognition is not just something you have to start with a click. It is always listening to you and is waiting for you to talk to it.

Also See : Google updates its Search Filter

The “Ok” command is already used as a part of Google Glass in a similar way (“OK Glass”) and it only works when you actually touch the device. It is interesting to know how desktop computers and mobile devices are supposed to be voice activated. But as both are often constantly being touched, it is more likely the microphone will just stay on and listening until there is a lapse in activity.

Earlier talking to gadgets used to sound weird. It felt like talking to an inanimate object that barely understands what you want. The early voice recognition tools were also limited; it took Zen-like focus on your pronunciation and ensuring that you more or less stuck with the approved commands to get them to work.

But now times have changed and this change is clearly visible through “OK Google” and “Ok Glass”. What Google’s voice commands enable you to do on the phone (and in the Chrome browser) today, is pretty impressive. Ask it “Call Mum” and it will do that. It will open web pages for you, will answer complex questions all thanks to Google’s massive repository of data in the Knowledge Graph, will set up appointment and reminders, translate words and phrases and send emails and texts.

You will be able to say, “OK Google! Answer me, will it be rainy in Paris?” and you can get an easy reply. And, you will be able to continue the conversation and just follow up with “how far is coffee shop from here?”

If you want to know weather of a place and get Google to tell you the answer. See, it will understand where you are, so “here” is already known without having to say a place name. Or if you just searched for “weather,” then it can guess that you want weather for another city even if you do not say the word “weather.”

This is a masterpiece creation by Google and will be surely accepted by users in the coming times.

Nokia in the race of Android Smartphones …

Nokia was once the king of cellphones in promising markets. But now it has lost ground because it was dawdling to respond to Android's popularity in many parts of the world. In India, where Nokia's phones had big share of cellphone sales just a few years ago, Android was installed on 93% of new smartphones shipped there last year.
Nokia in the race of Android Smartphones …

The company can help support the cost of combating Apple and Google in a field where its own operating system frankly isn't that competitive. It remains to be positive if this approach will work. Microsoft may want this device to be successful.

The rumored budget range Nokia device that's expected to run Android codenamed "Normandy" will supposedly make its way to market at the very feasible price of around $110. Still the company has not officially announced but we can think over it and about its race in android phones.

Also See : Shall we expect Nokia with Android ?

Expected Features:

Display:  4.0-inch TFT screen with 480x800p (WVGA) resolution,

Processor: 1GHz Snapdragon 200 series dual-core

OS: Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS

Camera: 5.0-megapixel

RAM: 512MB

Storage: 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB)

Battery: 1500 mAh

Add ons: Dual-SIM,microSD card slot, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, A-GPS, Nokia store apps with third party Android applications.

Nokia will have advantage of both OS windows and Android.

But before you get too excited, the Normandy will apparently not be able to support Google Play, and instead will run its own app store powered by Nokia, featuring well-liked apps such as Skype, Facebook, Twitter and others. The device will come with apps and services created by Nokia and Microsoft, along with a separate app store featuring Android apps differently.

On February 24 Nokia has scheduled a press event for the first day of MWC

Be in touch, for the expected announcements from all major vendors and more updates.

Google comes up with “Relationship” Option to Voice Search for Android

Google has announced that Android users will now be able to voice search on their smart phones by relationship terms in addition to name searches. The Google Voice Search which is a small microphone icon based service now supports 13 new languages making the total support to 42 languages and accents in 46 countries. This is in fact big news for those users who have been waiting for this voice powered search support for their languages.

Google comes up with “Relationship” Option to Voice Search for Android

This new feature will bring up any contact you have designated as having a particular familial connection to you in the "relationship" field in your contacts tool on Android. This additional feature which is meant to allow a user to now speak a phrase like "text sister” to initiate those actions without the user needing to say the person's name as it's listed in their contacts.

Also See : Go Google search, Go with Conversation

Every so often a cell phone comes out with a feature that makes our friend’s jaws drop when we utilize the feature in front of them. Android comes with a bag full of features but one of the most impressive of these is the voice search feature that is built into the Android software stack. Although voice recognition is not something new in regards to cell phone technology.

In fact many (non-smart) phones had the capability to call contacts based upon specific voice commands. However, Android goes better by allowing you to perform web searches based upon what you say into the phone’s receiver. Looks like the smart phones have just got smarter.

In order to launch contacts on your Android phone via voice you first need to allow the Google search app to access your contacts and the profile information attached to each person or place.

However, the Relationship Voice Search option has to work automatically as still it has to undergo a lot of listing rather than simply recognizing the relationship. Despite that, the system's "name" search by voice worked perfectly, it indicates that the update, which is being worked at Google's side, may be reaching its users sooner than others.

Android apps to run on Windows???

Microsoft is taking meticulous efforts to up bring the sales figure of desktop and mobile and one such earnest effort is that Microsoft is opening up Windows to Android apps reportedly. This innovative effort will surely help users to download the apps from a store run by a third-party "enabler" where Microsoft is still the gatekeeper.

Android apps to run on Windows???

It would not be the first time Android apps have appeared on Windows with a third-party enabler. The software maker BlueStacks already allows users to run Android apps on Windows devices which includes Microsoft's Surface Pro.

BlueStacks App Player uses a special virtualization technology that is theoretically able to run any app supported in Android devices. BlueStacks works as a small application on Windows Sidebar that can be easily launched when needed. BlueStacks can automatically sync applications, app updates, photos and SMS from your phone to your desktop. You can change various settings, such as the keyboard layout, language and even in which window size should individual app be launched. Apps size can be set to tablet, large phone or even small phone. It is a great way how to customize BlueStacks.

Also See : What's renewed in Windows Phone 8.1 ?

This is the way how Android apps run on Windows but as Microsoft is coming up with the idea of building its own software to run Android applications would surely be easier and compatible.

However, the company is still under discussion phase whether to move ahead with this plan or not. If this decision takes a positive turn then it would surely open up the company's desktop and mobile platforms to Android apps.

Now let’s see what it actually turns out to be.

A 5-inch 1080p HD AMOLED screen is the star of the show, a round rectangle with aluminum sides and a subtle curve on the screen’s glass that can make thumb flow smoothly over the surface. Its 0.4-inch-thick, 5.86-ounce body feels big and bulky. Its size is a nice. It’s really stunning, with gorgeous and vibrant colors that seem to pop off the Gorilla Glass 3 screen.
